Warden Training 

This training course is for occupants who have been appointed as Wardens in an ECO. On completion they will understand how to operate as part of an ECO.

EPA Emergency Warden Training course will equip your personnel with the skills required to act as a emergency warden during an emergency. By selecting an appropriate number of emergency wardens and conducting regular fire warden training. The following are the topics covered in the training:​

  1. Human behaviours and Conformity

  2. ECO Structure and Roles / Responsibilities

  3. Dealing with people refusing to leave and legisaltions

  4. Procedure in providing emergency response to the mobility impaired​

  5. Site specific emergency procedures and response

  6. Equipment within your building (Walk through)

  7. Attending the assembly area. 

All wardens must be registered

It is a requirement that an current register be maintained in accordance with Australian Standards 3745 Section 5.7.2 (a)(i)
